Getting started

What do I need to start selling?
Just a phone. AmanaPOS runs on the phone you already own — no card readers, no extra hardware. Download the app, create your shop, and you can ring up your first sale in minutes.
How do I create my shop?
Open the app, tap Create shop, and enter your shop name and currency. You can add products as you go — start with a few best-sellers and build your catalogue over time.
Is there anything to install or configure?
No setup wizard or technical config. Sign in, name your shop, and start adding items. Everything else — receipts, totals, daily reports — works out of the box.

Payments & Bankak

Can I accept Bankak?
Yes. Bankak is built in. Choose Bankak at checkout and your customer pays from their phone — the sale is recorded against the right total automatically.
How do mobile payments settle?
Bankak payments settle to your linked account on Bankak's normal schedule. AmanaPOS records each sale instantly so your totals and reports always match what you took.
Can I still take cash?
Of course. Mark a sale as cash and AmanaPOS tracks it alongside Bankak, so your end-of-day report shows every payment type in one place.

Selling offline & sync

Can I sell with no internet?
Yes — this is the heart of AmanaPOS. Sales, receipts, and inventory updates all work fully offline, so a dropped connection never stops you from serving a customer.
What happens when I reconnect?
Everything syncs automatically the moment you're back online. You don't press anything — offline sales upload in the background and your reports update themselves.
Is my data safe while offline?
Yes. Offline sales are stored securely on your device until they sync. Nothing is lost if you close the app or your phone restarts.

Your shop

Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. One account manages many shops. Switch between branches in the app and see each shop's sales separately, or all of them together.
Does inventory update in real time?
Every sale adjusts stock immediately, and low-stock items are flagged so you know what to reorder before you run out.
Can I reward returning customers?
Yes — loyalty points are built in. Customers earn points as they shop and redeem them later, giving them a reason to come back to you.
